LDK has an exclusive legal right to elect doctoral student representatives in all preparatory and decision making bodies at Lund University, and is organized into seven doctoral student councils.
The Economics and Management Doctoral Student Council (EDR)
The Humanistic and Theological Doctoral Student Council (HTDR)
The Law Doctoral Student Council (JDR)
The Science Doctoral Student Council (NDR)
The Medicine Doctoral Student Council (MDR)
The Social Sciences Doctoral Student Council (SDR)
Since 2017, the Fine and Performing Arts Doctoral Students Council (KDR) joined LDK. You can read more about research studies at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts situated in Malmö here.
These councils represent the doctoral students at faculty levels and appoints representatives to faculty boards and departments. You will find more information on their respective hompages (click on their name above, or on ‘councils’ on top of this page).
It takes committed members to be able to guard the interests of the doctoral students. If you want to get involved in this important work, and get a good picture of how things work at Lund University, please contact the student council of your faculty. You will find their e-mail addresses when you click on a councils link to their homepages. Off course, any time you devote to LDK will be compensated. Very welcome!
